Natalie Gumede will perform on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing

Coronation Street actress gets go ahead from doctors to perform after suffering a back injury

Soap star Natalie Gumede has been given the all clear by doctors and will be able to perform on this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing show.

Fears have been rife that a back injury would see the Coronation Street star out of the competition this weekend.

Natalie was said to have been in floods of tears during a training session with her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev, as they prepared to take another spin on the floor this weekend.

It’s believed Natalie may have aggravated an old injury and was given a precautionary scan and told to rest for two days.

Already a firm contender to win this year’s series, bagging top spot on the leader board last week for her rendition of Rihanna’s Love The Way You Lie, the actress took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support:
