Win a luxury stay in Cambridgeshire, the setting of Eddie Redmayne’s new film Theory of Everything

Enter our competition for a chance to bed up in Poets House, and explore the nearby filming locations of The King's Speech, Elizabeth and the Other Boleyn Girl

Les Misérables actor Eddie Redmayne has been spotted around historic Cambridge in the past few weeks, while shooting his new Stephen Hawking movie Theory of Everything. He’s just one of a long line of Hollywood stars who have stayed in the county to shoot period dramas, including Colin Firth (for The Kings Speech), Cate Blanchett (for Elizabeth) and Natalie Portman (for The Other Boleyn Girl). More recently Mila Kunis stayed in Cambridgeshire while filming a scene from sci-fi movie Jupiter Ascending at Ely Cathedral.

In celebration of the area’s rise to fame and the great academics from the region, we’re offering the chance to win a luxury stay at Poets House, the former home of poet Sybil Marshall. This grand listed building sits nearby Ely’s historic town centre, Ely Cathedral and opposite Oliver Cromwell’s house.

Inside the beautiful boutique hotel, the walls are splashed with poetry verses and many of the rooms include funky details from the past, including copper stand-alone bathtubs. Meanwhile, a traditional butler is there to serve you, all you need to do is call.

The lucky winner will receive an overnight stay for two in this grand house, including breakfast and dinner.
