Johnny Depp movie Into The Woods to shoot in Dover

The Pirates of the Caribbean star will film the Walt Disney Pictures adaptation on location in Kent this month

Johnny Depp fans get your train tickets ready, the Edward Scissorhands actor’s new movie Into The Woods will be shooting in the, erm, glamorous location of Dover, from September 25.

The production company has put out a casting call for extras to join the scene which will be filmed later this month. The casting call requested people between 16-90 years of age, who can get to the areas of Dover or Canterbury with ease.

Men need to be between 5 foot 6 inches and 6 foot 2 inches tall, while women need to be between a six and 14 dress size to be in with a chance of appearing in the new movie. It’s predicted that the cast and crew will descend on Dover Castle.

Other Hollywood actors may make an appearance at the shoot; the movie’s cast includes Chris Pine (Star Trek), Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada), Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air) and Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady).

Filming for Into the Woods started in the UK three weeks ago at Shepperton Studios in Middlesex, where director James Gunn’s movie Guardians of the Galaxy is also filming with Vin Diesel (xXx) and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover).

Into the Woods is due for release in 2014
