But we suspect she will do OK, having already wowed dance fans on a special Children In Need edition of Strictly in 2011, impressing judges with professional partner Robin Windsor to beat three other newsreaders.
The BBC Breakfast presenter has been described as a sex symbol and has the rare distinction of being named FHM MAM (middle aged minx) of the week.
But she probably has cause to be more proud of the fact that she recently won the Radio Times poll to find the most popular BBC Breakfast presenter since the show first aired thirty years ago, gaining more than 50% of the votes cast.
