In case you didn’t know, Anchorman’s Ron Burgundy and his salon-quality hair are kind of a big deal – and he’s soon to publish a memoir to prove it.
Entitled Let Me Off at the Top: My Class Life and Other Musings, the autobiography will detail Burgundy’s journey to becoming the awesome news reporter he is today.
There’s a fair bit about his dog Baxter too. Naturally. He couldn’t leave out his best buddy.
Burgundy’s story will detail how his news team came together and perhaps why he went for that moustache. A moustache probably more famous than Jeremy Paxman’s beard. And these days that’s saying something.
Burgundy (played in the movies by Will Ferrell) said, “I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing… I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank.”
Publishers Random House are set to release the memoir in November, before the Anchorman sequel, The Legend Continues, is released in cinemas in December.
We should probably all do a cannonball now, right? Walk around in our bathrobes, check ourselves out in the mirror, get a perm… it’s what Ron would want.
