Sylvester Stallone turns on Bruce Willis via Twitter as Harrison Ford signs up for The Expendables 3

Sly goes online to confirm Willis is out of his latest film and that he's bagged the Star Wars legend

Sylvester Stallone shared a double whammy of news on Twitter last night, revealing that Harrison Ford has signed up for his latest film The Expendables 3… and Bruce Willis is out.

Stallone isn’t letting news of Willis’ exit go quietly either.

Turning to the caps locks button for a release of fury, Expendables writer and director Stallone tweeted:

Not naming any names, eh Sly? We get the gist though.

Willis, who has appeared in a string of strange interviews recently – ranging from complete disinterest to spitting on the floor and arriving in his bathrobe – doesn’t appear to be going out of his way to make friends.

Soon to return to the Star Wars franchise, Harrison Ford is set to join Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steven Seagal and Jason Statham in the next instalment of The Expendables. Stallone’s ensemble films tend to follow groups of heavies as they attempt to overthrow baddies with big weapons, although Sly has hinted the third film may go in a new direction.

It’s thought the film will first air in the US in August 2014.
