Russell T Davies to auction off annotated David Tennant Doctor Who script for charity

The former show-runner has donated the script for Midnight - complete with notes and illustrations - in order to aid former companion Janet Fielding

Fancy getting your hands on a Doctor Who script featuring insights and illustrations from Russell T Davies? Well, you’re gonna have to bid for it.

The former showrunner has donated his script for David Tennant episode Midnight to Project Motor House, a charity run by Janet Fielding, who played Tom Baker’s 1981 companion Tegan. The project is raising money to save historic West Cliff Concert Hall in Ramsgate, in order to turn it into an arts centre.

The script, below, is full of annotations and drawings by Davies himself, including a cartoon of Tennant’s tenth Doctor in action, uttering his catchphrase “Alons-y!”. Click image to enlarge

Other items up for auction are The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit scripts signed by David Tennant, 4 A3 pictures signed by Freema Agyeman and a perspex panel signed by Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann and David Tennant.

Bidding begins on 3 August.
