Wallace and Gromit are following in the illustrious footsteps of the likes of Julie Walters, Stephen Fry and Michelle Dockery by becoming the latest stars of VisitEngland’s publicity drive – a new £4m campaign backed by the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish tourist boards.
Fresh from their cheese-hunting adventures on the moon, the claymation inventor and his trusty dog feature in a new advert charting their visits to the UK’s finest tourist attractions. Getting in the holiday spirit, Wallace loads up his latest ingenious transportation device (a cannon capapble of firing its occupants abroad) with suitcases, parachutes and some light holiday reading in the form of “Fifty Shades of Greyhound”.

But following their disastrous take-off, he discovers Gromit’s UK travel pamphlet and the twosome embark upon a tour of the top destinations in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, including Stonehenge, Loch Ness and The Tower of London…
