Made in Chelsea: Francis Boulle – ‘Spencer and Louise aren’t good for each other’

"We've all been dragged into it and involved" added his co-star Rosie Fortescue

Ever since he informed Millie and Rosie of Spencer’s wandering eye, Francis Boulle has been a wanted man. The object of Mr Matthews’ wrath, he has taken to vacating his own flat every time the puggy one comes a-knocking. And although the bespectacled diamond heir has continued to hold his own, he has wisely steered clear of his outspoken foe. Until now…

Speaking exclusively to with co-stars Oliver Proudlock and Rosie Fortescue at the recent Bafta Television Awards nominations party, Francis revealed the cast’s reaction to Spencer’s dramatic break up with girlfriend Louise Thompson during last week’s episode. “It’s been an earthquake,” he declared before adding, “It’s definitely for the best – they’re not good for each other.”

Watch your back, Francis. We can’t imagine Spenny reacting too well to comments of that ilk. Although the ups and downs of the Chelsea gang are continuing to win over Bafta, with the show receiving a nomination at the annual television awards for the second year running. Did the original cast members have hopes for such success when they first started appearing on our screens back in 2011? “I was always pretty confident we’d get nominated for a Bafta eventually,” announced Francis. “I was just waiting and holding out so it’s nice to finally get the recognition we deserve.”

So, what can we expect from the rest of the current fifth series? “People are getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera,” teased Proudlock, before Francis revealed someone might get punched. Watch this space…
