Hear Emeli Sandé, will.i.am, Fergie and Lana Del Rey sing on Jay Z’s The Great Gatsby soundtrack

The score for Baz Luhrmann's upcoming blockbuster also features Beyoncé, Florence & The Machine, Gotye and Jack White

No one can deny the visual beauty of Baz Luhrmann’s soon-to-be-released remake of The Great Gatsby, but the spectacular opulence of the three trailers unveiled so far is elevated by the film’s Jay Z-produced score.

Featuring the ethereal vocals of Lana Del Rey, followed up by the powerhouse lungs of Florence Welch, the preview footage of Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire is thoroughly enriched by the film’s seductive soundtrack.

We’ve already heard Beyoncé’s sultry verison of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black, but the latest soundtrack sample sees the bootylicious one being covered in return by Emeli Sandé. Teaming up with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra, the Brit Award winner’s jazzy cover of Crazy in Love is just one of a string of new 30-second snippets available for fans to listen to.

Former Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is another big name to lend her vocals to the film, collaborating with Q Tip and GoonRock for new track A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got). The Voice coach and Fergie’s former band mate will.i.am also features with his offering Bang Bang, plus music from Somebody That I Used to Know hit-maker Gotye with his contribution, Hearts A Mess.

The Great Gatsby is released in the UK on May 16. Watch the latest soundtrack sampler below…
