Here are the first pictures of beleaguered Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) as he stands trial after being falsely accused by Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) of domestic violence.
As the trial begins in next week’s episodes, Tyrone is soon made out to be a malicious and evil man who has been abusing Kirsty for months. His wife does not hesitate to lie through her teeth when she takes to the stand, but will she think about backing down when her mother pleads with her to prevent an innocent man from going prison?
The dramatic episodes will see Alison (Dawn Hope) putting a compromise to her troubled daughter: she will help out with Ruby on the proviso that Kirsty comes clean to the courts. As the trial proceeds, Tyrone gives a candid account of the abuse he’s experienced at the hands of Kirsty, while Julie (Katy Cavanagh) feels the wrath of her friend firsthand.
But will Julie act on impulse and save Tyrone with her fresh insights? Or is new information from elsewhere going to be enough to free Ty from his nightmare?
