Oscars 2013: Nominations – live video stream

Lincoln, Les Misérables, Life of Pi, Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, Silver Linings Playbook, Django Unchained and The Master are all in the mix for this year's Academy Awards

We’ve had the Golden Globes nominations and yesterday we were made party to BAFTA’s nods but today it’s the big one – the Academy Awards. The accolade that every actor, director, producer, set designer, animator… (you get the idea) aspires to clutch in their hands at the climax of awards season.

A string of names and films have been bandied about over the last few weeks: will Daniel Day Lewis scoop his third Oscar for Lincoln? What about Anne Hathaway’s tortured turn in big budget musical Les Misérables? Will Ang Lee’s stunning 3D creation Life of Pi sweep the board? What about Phillip Seymour Hoffman in The Master, or Ben Affleck’s Argo?

The hotly-anticipated shortlist will be revealed at 1:30pm UK time – a sociable hour for us Brits – so why not watch the nominations be announced via the live video stream below? And in the meantime, you can whet your appetite with Radio Times film editor Andrew Collins’ predictions for this year’s top accolades. Enjoy.

The 85th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday 24 February hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.
