Skyfall world premiere: interviews with Daniel Craig and the James Bond stars – video

See what Craig and co-stars Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe had to say as the Sam Mendes 007 film enjoyed its glitzy first night in London

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall joined Daniel Craig, his Skyfall co-stars Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe, and director Sam Mendes at the Albert Hall last night for a right royal premiere of the new James Bond film.

On the red carpet, Craig chatted to celebrity interviewer and massive Bond fan David Walliams, calling Mendes “such a good storyteller” and assuring fans that, despite Skyfall being in some ways a departure for 007, “we’ve tried to remain true to the spirit of Bond… to never forget that we’re making a Bond movie.”

Of the potential pressures of making the new film for the screen spy’s 50th anniversary, Craig said “I tried not to think about it.”
