THE RUMOUR: The bad vibes continue between cursed over-28s mentor Gary Barlow (two acts down, only Kye “oh yeah, I forgot he was in it” Sones left) and cheery pest Louis Walsh, who controversially shafted Carolynne Poole after the first live show. Nobody was fooled by Gaz and Lou’s on-air handshake on Saturday night – and subsequent tweets, comments and furtively hurled green-room Wotsits have confirmed that the feud is still on. So Simon Cowell has stepped in, hiring “professional healer” Hazel Taylor to cleanse the studio’s chakras, realign its feng shui, exorcise its demons and generally karma the place up using her special professional skills.
QUOTE FROM A “SOURCE” WHO PROBABLY DOESN’T EXIST: “We need all the help we can get. You can cut the atmosphere with a knife so the healer was brought in to try and see off the bad energy and bring the fun back. Hopefully, all of the last week’s negativity will be over and we can have a laugh again.” (Daily Star)
RADIOTIMES.COM TRUTH RATING: 3/5. Reportedly Cowell has done this with his house in LA, after some bad energy got in and stopped him enjoying playbacks of his own shows on his 100-foot plasma. If Louis and Gary spend the whole of next week’s episode cross-legged, staring tantrically into each other’s eyes, you’ll know why.
