The new James Bond movie Skyfall has been given a 12A certificate by the British Board of Film Classification and will run for 142m 58s.
The BBFC site reports that the film contains moderate action violence and one use of strong language.
Skyfall, which sees Daniel Craig return to the role of secret agent 007 following outings in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, will be released in the UK on October 26.
The actor’s previous Bond movies each carry a 12 certificate.
The world premiere for this 23rd Bond adventure will take place on Tuesday 23 October at the Royal Albert Hall in London and will be attended by His Royal Highness Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
