If we remember correctly the last we heard of Sloaney pony Spencer Matthews, he was jetting off to luxurious European getaways to seek out a new gal pal on C5’s The Bachelor. But after a failed attempt to win over the heart of a brand new girlfriend, Spencer is back – tail between his legs – to reignite his torrid relationship with Made in Chelsea co-star Louise Thompson.

But with the introduction of some dashing new cast members – Jamie Laing’s eligible friends Andy Jordan, Sam Cussins and Stevie Johnson – Spencer’s hold over Louise is under threat.

In the first of two clips showcasing the brand new series, Louise is seen sunning herself in St Tropez when she’s approached by new upstart Andy – who risks the wrath of her possessive boyfriend by daring to chat her up:

But smitten Spence catches wind of their conversation, and puffs out his barrel chest to confront Andy in the pool of the aforementioned exotic location.

Warning: Spencer lets slip some rather strong language here…

Now Rosie and Millie have kissed and made up, that conveniently sets the stage for some much-needed posh boy beef for the new series. Does Spencer manage to stave off competition from Jamie’s handsome new friends? Will Andy succeed in his quest to catch Louise’s eye? And will Spencer do himself a favour and visit a barber? Find out the answer to all these pressing questions by tuning into E4 for the new series on Monday at 10pm.
