The 2005 remake of the classic Roald Dahl children’s favourite. Tim Burton directs, and Johnny Depp stars in Charlie’s updated tour through Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.

Animated family comedy about a small-town bird who falls in love and finds himself travelling to Rio de Janeiro. Starring Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg and Will.i.am.
Lethal Weapon 3 – 9.00pm, Channel 5
1992 fast-paced action comedy. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover lead the chase to catch a former LAPD officer turned-arms dealer.
The Wrestler – 11.10pm, Film4
Mickey Rourke delivers a stunning performance in this award-winning film. An ageing wrestler struggles to come to terms with his new life outside of the ring.
A Beautiful Mind – 11.20pm, BBC1
Biographical drama about the life of John Nash. Russell Crowe is a talented but troubled mathematician, whose work for the government brings dangerous consequences.
