Hot Fuzz – 9.00pm, ITV2

A London police officer is transferred to a small town where he is teamed with an incompetent new partner. Comedy action film starring Sean Pegg and Nick Frost.

Patriot Games – 9.00pm, Film4

A CIA analyst becomes targeted by the IRA when he saves a member of the royal family from an attack. Starring Harrison Ford and Sean Bean.

Lethal Weapon – 10.00pm, Channel 5

Action thriller starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. A reckless cop is teamed up with a rule-obeying partner to take on a drugs ring.

Scum – 10.00pm, ITV4

Hard-hitting drama, starring a young Ray Winstone, about a youth borstal where the inmates must try to climb the hierarchy among the violent teenagers in order to survive.

The Gauntlet – 11.35pm, ITV1

Clint Eastwood directs and stars in this action drama about an alcoholic cop sent to find a prisoner who is to testify in court against a group of senior police officers.
