Rewind 40 years for some classic Batman in this camp and colourful adaptation based on the 1960s TV series, starring Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin who fight to thwart their arch enemies – Penguin, Joker, Riddler and Catwoman – when they team up to take over the world.

I, Robot – 9:00pm, Sky Movies Sci-Fi & Horror

Will Smith stars in this futuristic sci-fi thriller as Detective Del Spooner, sent to investigate the death of a leading scientist whose superadvanced robot prototype is widely regarded as the prime murder suspect.

Once upon a Time in Mexico – 11:00pm, Channel 5

An all star cast of Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke, Salma Hayek and singer Enrique Iglesias take on the final film in director Robert Rodriguez’s action trilogy, about a corrupt CIA agent who recruits the Mariachi to assassinate a drugs lord.

Private Fears in Public Places – 11:05pm, Film4

Director Alain Resnais uses 50 short scenes to adapt Alan Ayckbourn’s romantic comedy drama about six Parisians searching for love, exploring the physical and psychological barriers that prevent the characters from expressing their true emotions.

Blues Brothers 2000 – 12:30am, ITV4

Actor Dan Aykroyd and director John Landis reunite the cast from cult favourite The Blues Brothers (minus the late John Belushi) after 18 years for this musical comedy about musician Elwood Blues (Aykroyd) – anxious to re-form his old group but forced to look for new band members.

The Savages – 1:30am, Film4

Oscar-nominated Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman pair up in this delightful comedy drama about the difficult relationship between a brother and sister who are thrown back together by the need to find their estranged father a new care home.
