Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy – in five-and-a-half minutes

Before you go to see The Dark Knight Rises, check out this cleverly-made video that puts the new film into context

Off to see the final instalment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy this weekend? Well here’s a handy reminder of what’s gone before, and teaser of what’s to come, in the form of a five-and-a-half minute promo that cuts together scenes from all three movies.

There’s Liam Neeson’s Henri Ducard practicing ninjitsu in Batman Begins, Heath Ledger’s psychotic Joker causing mayhem in The Dark Knight and Batman’s newest foe Bane making a mess of Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Rises.

I’m sure you hardly need telling at this point, but The Dark Knight Rises opens in cinemas today and early reports suggest that it’s a really rather good end to the series (if perhaps a little on the long side).

It’s already made a fortune in early ticket sales, and if you fancy some background on the movie before you go and see it, have a look at this 13-minute video preview.
