The regularly raided small town of Warlock appoints famous gunman Clay Blaisedell (Henry Fonda) along with his gambler friend Tom Morgan (Anthony Quinn) as protection. However, a reformed thug (Richard Widmark) volunteers to rival Blaisedell for the title of official sheriff.

Housekeeping – 6:30pm, Film4

This comedy drama surrounds two young sisters abandoned by their mother. When their eccentric Aunt Sylvie (Christine Lahti) takes control, the girls’ lives are turned upside down by her unconventional approach to life.

Two Mules for Sister Sara – 9:00pm, 5USA

Badlands – 10.50pm, TCM

An American crime drama based on the real-life murder spree of Charles Starkweather – Kit Carruthers (Martin Sheen) and his girlfriend Holly Sargis (Sissy Spacek) are on the run after shooting dead her father, killing anyone who stands in their way.

Batman – 11:00pm, ITV2

The 1989 film directed by Tim Burton – Batman (Michael Keaton) plans to avenge his parents’ death by defending the town from Napier (Jack Nicholson) who renames himself ‘The Joker’ after falling face first into a vat of chemicals. 

Boogie Nights – 11:15pm, ITV4

A sex, drugs and disco drama surrounding the highs and lows of the 1970’s Los Angeles Golden Age of Porn. A young nightclub dishwasher (Mark Wahlberg) is scouted and becomes a star of pornographic films.
