Second World War drama based on a true story about a German U-boat stalked by a US destroyer. The performances of Curt Jurgens and Robert Mitchum as the respective captains are outstanding in this deadly game of cat and mouse.

Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd and Brittany Murphy star in this classic coming-of-age rom-com based on Jane Austen’s Emma, about popular high school students Cher and best friend Dionne who can’t resist giving a makeover to “clueless” new girl Tai.  
 
American Pie – 9:00pm, ITV2
 
Comedy following four teenage boys and their attempts to lose their virginity before their prom night. Packed full of outrageous gags and hilarious performances from a cast made up of Jason Biggs, Seam William Scott, Tara Reid, Chris Klein and Alyson Hannigan.
 
The Matrix – 10:00pm, Watch
 
This 1999 sci-fi thriller pushed the boundaries of special-effects technology and re-ignited Keanus Reeves’s stalling career. He plays reclusive computer hacker Neo, who’s drafted in to save the world from a future of cyberspace slavery.  

We Own the Night – 10:30pm, ITV4
