Who’s got the Best Shot – Catherine Zeta Jones or Pat Benatar?

With the Welsh actress covering the singer's hit '80s song in Rock of Ages, we ask the burning question: whose version is the best?


Rock of Ages screamed into cinemas this week like a bat out of hell, showcasing some of Hollywood’s biggest names throwing shapes and belting out ’80s rock classics by the likes of Def Leppard, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Bon Jovi.


Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise are among the stars featured in big-screen musical adaptation, as is Catherine Zeta Jones, who performs lead vocals on a cover of Pat Benatar’s 80s smash Hit Me With Your Best Shot in the film.

Which, happily, we’ve been given a video of. It’s a spirited and well choreographed performance – but how does it compare to Benatar’s hard-rockin’ rendition?
