10 o’Clock Live host Charlie Brooker is to present the third run of his Radio 4 panel series, So Wrong It’s Right, this May.
Described as a “competitive game of failure”, the quiz show – where coming up with the wrong answer is the right thing to do
– was first heard on Radio 4 in 2010.
Each week Brooker will ask three guest comedians a number of questions designed to probe their pasts, test their creativity and encourage them to turn their embarrassing mistakes into perverse triumphs.
From mishaps at school to faux pas at parties, the show’s guests are encouraged to do their best to “out-wrong” one another during the course of the show.
Charlie will award points for the most amusingly erroneous answers and decide whether or not his guests’ answers are, in fact, so wrong they’re right.
Lee Mack, Susan Calman, Holly Walsh, Barry Cryer, Dan Maier, Isy Suttie, Graham Linehan, Helen Zaltzman and Matthew Crosby have all signed on to appear in this series of the programme, which will begin weekly on Radio 4 from Wednesday 16 May at 6:30pm.
The first series of So Wrong It’s Right went out in March 2010 and was followed by a second in May 2011. Guests who have appeared on the show in the past include David Mitchell, Josie Long, Lee Mack and Richard Herring.
