X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has said she is “heartbroken” that a video of her sharing an “intimate moment” with an ex-boyfriend has been leaked online.

The former N-Dubz singer obtained an injunction to prevent anyone from using, publishing, communicating or disclosing any or all of the “sex tape” after it was posted on a website on Monday 19 March.

In a video posted to YouTube (see above), she said: “As you can imagine, I am devastated, heartbroken, I have been in bits for the last few days.

“When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love, you care about and you trust, you never imagine for one minute that that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of the UK or the rest of the people around the world.

“As you can imagine, it’s a pretty tough time for me, but I don’t feel that I should be the one to take the heat for it, or the stick. This was something that he took upon himself to put online and he is now sitting in silence pretending that it’s not him.”

She then identified the man in the video as her ex-boyfriend, Justin Edwards, aka grime artist MC Ultra.

After showing a photo of Edwards to the camera, she said: “Justin is someone I was seeing from the age of 17 on and off for many years. By the time I was 19, we were together for a year and a half, I practically moved in with him and I loved him deeply. We talked about marriage, we talked about kids.

“Six months ago, I got a call from a mutual friend saying that apparently he has footage of me, that he’s been threatening to bring it out to ruin my career.”

She ended the video thanking her supporters, saying: “Lots of love to my fans, I apologise to anyone that this has offended. I know for a fact it will not happen again.”

When the tape emerged earlier this week, Tulisa’s legal representatives denied that she was the female in the video, saying: “This tape is 100 per cent fake and is just someone trying to cash in on her X Factor role. She is horrified that someone would go to the extreme lengths of fabricating a video. It is absolutely not her. Tulisa has categorically never allowed anyone to film her having sex.”
