ER star Anthony Edwards returns to TV in new drama Zero Hour

The actor best known for playing Dr Mark Greene will take the lead in a pilot for American network ABC

ER star Anthony Edwards is to make a return to TV in Zero Hour, a drama pilot for the American network ABC.


Edwards will star as Hank Foley, the editor of Modern Skeptics magazine, who – according to – becomes involved in one of the most compelling conspiracies in human history when his wife is kidnapped.

The 49-year-old actor previously portrayed the much-loved Dr Mark Greene on ER, a performance that earned him a Golden Globe in 1998 and four consecutive Emmy nominations for outstanding lead actor between 1995 and 1998.

Zero Hour, which is written and executive produced by Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring, marks Edwards’s first series regular role since his years on the ground-breaking medical drama.
