Eccentric Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum is the latest big-name signing to comedy drama series Glee.
Goldblum, best known for 1986 horror film The Fly, will play one of Rachel’s (Lea Michele) gay dads in the high-school musical series, and is expected to sing.
He will be joined by Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, who will play his partner, according to TVLine.com.
Glee, which airs on Sky1, has a tradition of landing famous names for guest roles. Britney Spears, Neil Patrick Harris and Olivia Newton-John have all had cameos, with Gwyneth Paltrow winning an Emmy for her performance as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.
