71 Degrees North celebrities announced

Find out which actors, musicians and presenters will be feeling the cold this autumn

ITV1’s snow-covered reality series 71 Degrees North is to return for its second series this autumn, and the broadcaster has just announced the ten celebrities who’ll be battling to make it to the North Cape.

Braving the cold this year will be Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, former EastEnders Brooke Kinsella and Sean Maguire, celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clark, gardener Charlie Dimmock, Crimewatch’s Rav Wilding, former The Bill actress Lisa Maxwell, TV presenter Angellica Bell, funnyman John Thomson and Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams.

Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness and Sky Sports News anchor Charlotte Jackson will oversee the new series.

71 Degrees North, based on a Norwegian TV format, sees a group of celebrities forced to attempt a number of extreme challenges like reindeer hunting and ice swimming as they attempt to advance to the show’s goal, with one celebrity per week being voted off the show.
