An unearthly child: baby girl for David Tennant and Georgia Moffett

The first couple of sci-fi celebrate a new addition

He used to be the Doctor, now he’s a daddy. That’s right, sci-fi fans, David Tennant became a father for the first time earlier this week when his fiancée Georgia Moffett gave birth to a baby girl.

Early unconfirmed tabloid rumours suggest the couple have named the child Olivia, or perhaps Olive, so maybe hold off until there’s an official announcement before you send a personalised congratulatory card.

Twenty-six-year-old Georgia –  daughter of the fifth Doctor, Peter Davison – met David, 39, while starring as the Doctor’s daughter in the BBC show back in 2008. The rest was history as they say, and the couple became engaged earlier this year.

Georgia already has a son, Tyler, from a previous relationship.
