Quentin Tarantino just confirmed that all his movies take place in one universe… kind of

Theories about how the director's films fit together have been circling the internet for years. Now we have a definitive answer

For years, the internet has theorised about whether or not Quentin Tarantino’s movies exist in the same universe. Finally, Tarantino has provided some answers.

In an interview with The Project, Tarantino said that the one-universe theory “isn’t 100% correct,” and then explained that his movies all exist in not one, but two universes.

He said that there is a “realer than real” universe where characters from movies like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction exist. Then, there is another movie universe where movies like Kill Bill and From Dusk till Dawn exist.

“So basically when the characters of Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction, when they go to the movies… Kill Bill is what they go see. From Dusk Til Dawn is what they go see.”

What’s even more interesting is that Tarantino dropped hints to this dual universe years ago in Pulp Fiction. When Mia Wallace describes to Vincent Vega the plot of television pilot she was in called “Fox Force Five,” she basically describes the plot of Kill Bill, suggesting that this pilot could have become a film in their universe.

If this doesn’t blow your mind, we’re not entirely sure what will.
