Yes, as many suspected, Heisenberg himself features in El Camino. However, he’s not the same Walter White we saw in the Breaking Bad finale: the genius meth maker appears in a flashback of the show’s second season.

Jesse Plemons plays Todd Alquist
Nephew to neo-nazi leader Jack Welker, Todd is an ex-meth-making partner to Jesse and Walt.

Neil is one of the police officers that arrive in Todd’s old apartment as Jesse searches the scene.
However, it turns out that (SPOILER ALERT), Neil is not a cop, but a crook on the hunt for Todd’s money. And not only that – through a flashback we learn Neil is the wielder that constructed the metal rigging Jesse was chained to while enslaved by a neo-Nazi group.
In case you’re wondering, Neil is not a character that previously featured in the Breaking Bad TV series.

Appearing in one of the many flashbacks in El Camino is Jane, a tattoo artist and former partner of Jesse.
Falling in love with Pinkman in season two of Breaking Bad, Jane was brutally killed off, choking on her own vomit after a drugs overdose. However, as fans of the show will know, her death wasn’t inevitable: Walter White had the chance to save Jane, but chose not to in order to gain more control over Jesse.
