Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan gives new meaning to the term "eyewitness" in this far-fetched and clichéd yarn. Struggling to convince with her emotionally uneven performance, she plays a cornea transplant patient who begins to suffer horrific visions of her donor's last moments. Unsurprisingly, Sheridan turns detective to prove her theory that the dead woman was murdered, encountering an assortment of lazy character stereotypes during her all-too-easy investigation. But while the storyline is as unrealistic as the acting and dialogue, there's enjoyment and just enough intrigue in watching such an unlikely heroine nail a killer. Atmospheric music adds to the experience, creating an appropriate air of unease that's replaced by genuine tension in the twisting finale.
