Her Last Chance

Former ER star Kellie Martin here plays a model student who slips into drug abuse to keep pace with her trendy boyfriend, Jonathan Brandis. Had director Richard A Colla continued to concentrate on the dangers of experimentation and the living hell of addiction, this drama might have made more impact. But once Martin is charged with murder, the story strays into tabloid territory, and not even some accomplished support playing and a twist ending can preserve the film's credibility.
