Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

His glory days as an MGM star long over, Robert Taylor drifts through this B-western, which tells an all-too-familiar story of Wyoming settlers who want to fence in their land and evil ranchers who think their cows should roam free. Guns come out, cattle stampede, and the dispute goes all the way to President Chester A Arthur (Larry Gates). Apparently shot in two weeks, the film is directed by Tay Garnett, a veteran who reached his peak with The Postman Always Rings Twice in 1946.
