Review
Horror, martial arts, magic, Chinese folklore and science-fiction are all served up in this haphazard Hong Kong version of SUPERMAN. An evil ruler of a subterranean kingdom wants to extend her powers to the surface. So a kung fu fighter is scientifically transformed into an invincible superhero to halt her world domination plans that includes unleashing earthquakes, erupting volcanos and tidal waves to beat mankind into submission. Typically lunatic fare from the Shaw Brothers Studio factory, this genre hotch-potch suffers from Hua Shan's episodic direction.
