Review
Having already explored the seedy side of Hollywood street life in 1982's Vice Squad, writer and director Robert Vincent O'Neil hit paydirt by tossing some offbeat comedy and a teenage temptress angle into this tacky follow-up. Dick Shawn serves up the former as a gregarious drag queen, while Donna Wilkes does her best to provide the latter as the class-topping student who becomes a fallen angel by night. Other lowlifes include Rory Calhoun as a former cowboy star, Susan Tyrell as a lesbian and John Diehl as the psycho being pursued by no-nonsense cop Cliff Gorman. Tyrell, Calhoun and Steven Porter were the only cast members to return for the sordid sequel, Avenging Angel.
