Comedy starring Damon Wayans. After his grandmother is murdered, nerdy inventor Darryl Walker decides to become a crime-fighting superhero, developing a bulletproof costume and fashioning gadgets out of household items. However, Darryl's offbeat appearance gives him a major credibility problem.
Nerdy inventor Damon Wayans creates a bulletproof fabric, fashions a ridiculous superhero costume from it and becomes an inept crime-fighter battling ghetto gangsters in this above-average comedy. Despite having no superpowers and with only his daft inventions and luck on his side, Wayans sets out to beat underworld kingpin Jon Polito and get the girl - TV news reporter Robin Givens. Semi-succeeding where Robert Townsend's similar satire The Meteor Man failed dismally, this leans heavily on parodies of the 1960s Batman series and Wayans's funky humour from the TV comedy show In Living Color. A pleasant - if juvenile - diversion.
