Review

A star rating of 1 out of 5.

This unfunny comedy was made as a big-screen vehicle for TV star Ellen DeGeneres. She plays a lonely single woman who meets hunky Bill Pullman and discovers, too late, what a loser he really is - by which point she can't seem to get rid of him. Unfortunately, director Nick Castle (who made the equally unamusing Major Payne) lets this tedious tale amble along, and even the combined talents of DeGeneres, Pullman and Joan Cusack can't save it.
