Summary

A 20-year-old Princess has just buried her mother, when her father starts to abuse her. She then battles with her fathers abuse over the course of the year, meanwhile he finds suitors for her to marry, as the Princess is constantly disobedient and defiant to his orders. After this encounter her father beats her. A year has passed and Count Asti arrives to ask her hand, he also is greeted with her un-subservient ways and throws a glass at her. Scared with the future that stands before he the Princess runs away encountering her Handmaiden who persuades her to stay and fight. Master John meets the Princess, whom she dismisses immediately due to his age- 18 years old. The father pulls her into the room beating her in front of Master John. Her father becomes seemingly angrier and attempts to scare her into submission by drowning her in a bathtub, afterwards the handmaiden convinces her that there is another way to handle the cards she has been dealt in her life. Her Father sends her to war after she says she would rather go to war than marry any of the men he has presented her, upon her arrival back from the war she has won she kills her father. We then transition to a girl no younger than 18 reading the fairytale, when a man walks in throwing the book across the room and closing the door, only screams are heard.
