In 1994, a young couple enters the world of the music industry, and subsequently the world of drugs.
Written and directed by Menahem Golan and co-produced with his longtime partner, Yoram Globus, this is one of the low points of Cannon's chequered history. Set in the New York of the future (well, 1994) and borrowing shamelessly from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it follows the foot-tapping efforts of tunesmiths Catherine Mary Stewart and George Gilmour to deliver the world from drug-peddling villain Mr Boogalow and his demonic dance craze, The Bim. Even with Vladek Sheybal enjoying himself as the hissable tycoon and Ray Shell doubling up as his bungling henchmen, Shake and Snake, this discordant drivel is best forgotten.
