Eyes of a Stranger

Jennifer Jason Leigh stars in this voyeuristic and distasteful horror as the blind and deaf sister of TV anchorwoman Lauren Tewes. During the Miami summer, serial killer John DiSanti has been raping and murdering local women. Tewes discovers the killer just happens to be her next-door neighbour, and attempts to prove his guilt before he comes after her and the defenceless Leigh. With no production gloss to redeem it, this is exploitative in the extreme and does women no favours on the victimisation front.
