Cupid looses his arrow at our hero. He approaches the object of his love, but she's cold and confronts him encased in brick. He buys her clothes, perfume, and a car. He gives her money. He takes her to Venice, to the Alps, and to Arabia. He begs. Cupid has become a devil. The man in love offers his scorched heart to his lady love. He cries, he tries suicide. Nothing works. So, he opens his head, finds a tape recorder inside, and rewinds the tape to the moment the arrow struck him. Then, heart throbbing, he sets off in a new direction.
