Summary

A lonely pre-teen is mostly ignored by his father, who pays more attention to his telescope than he does to his son, Luis. He's picked on by the school bully, and ignored by Jennifer, the girl of his dreams. However, Luis's life is turned upside down when he embarks on an adventure to help three extra-terrestrials return to their mother ship. Animated comedy, with the voices of Callum Maloney and Dermot Magennis

Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

Besotted by intercepted TV transmissions from an Earth shopping channel, three goofy, shape-shifting aliens enlist the aid of lonely Earth boy Luis in buying the channel's last available massage mat. In return, the aliens help Luis thwart plans to send him to a special school for neglected kids, and to re-bond with his loving but distracted dad, a UFO "nut" who believes all aliens are hostile. Nicely animated, fast-paced and fun, this European production won't give the cartoon big boys any sleepless nights, but it's a decent rainy day watch for the younger children at whom it's aimed.
