Two People

After directing such splendid prestige productions as West Side Story, The Sound of Music, The Sand Pebbles and The Andromeda Strain, Robert Wise unwisely dived into the "youth market" with this romance between guilt-ridden draft dodger Peter Fonda and unhappy fashion model Lindsay Wagner. There's far too much "hey man" soul-searching and a rush of domestic crises that would occupy a TV soap for months. Wise's direction also seems to have been influenced by the worst excesses of the French New Wave and the intellectualism of Michelangelo Antonioni. Nice locations but it just appears dated now.
