Review
Sam Elliott and Paul Sorvino star in a hard-hitting crime thriller about a tough San Francisco cop who discovers his late partner wasn't exactly on the right side of the law. Having killed the man he thinks is responsible for his friend's death, detective Charlie Falon (Elliott) and his new partner (Esai Morales) become entangled in two murder investigations. Like a cross between The Bad Lieutenant and The Big Easy, John Langley's drama has all the seediness of the former but, alas, none of the humour of the latter.
