Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

Saddam Hussein's supergun, that lethal gizmo designed to shoot nerve-gas rockets from Iraq to Israel, caused one of the biggest controversies in recent British political history. The parts came from a British company - did the government know or did they not? Hard questions were asked, men were wrongly convicted and heads rolled. This TV drama, made for HBO in America, casts Frank Langella as Gerald Bull, the designer of the supergun who was later murdered. Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey, Michael Kitchen, Rupert Graves and James Fox also feature in the extremely impressive cast.
