Psychological thriller starring Dean Cain. When businessman Jeremy Stanton loses his bearings in the desert between California and Nevada, he becomes increasingly disoriented by an unending maze of highways and minor roads. It's also apparent that an unseen menace is lurking in the wilderness with him.
Dean Cain's post-Superman career has been pretty forgettable, but this nifty low-budget thriller ranks as one of his better efforts. He plays a slick businessman who gets lost in the Nevada desert on the way home to his family. At the same time, a gang of bank robbers is on the loose and it soon becomes apparent why he is in such a hurry. Cain is on screen for virtually the whole of the movie and acquits himself well, while writer/director Darren Lemke succeeds in wringing a few neat twists out of the road-trip-from-hell scenario.
