We're in 007 territory again with this spy thriller from The Italian Job director Peter Collinson. This time our rather more fallible superhero is played by Stanley Baker, with boss Donald Pleasence sending him on a mission to locate a missing Russian scientist. A strong cast also includes Geraldine Chaplin and Dana Andrews, but those of a delicate disposition may find this defector drama leans too heavily on the sadism and violence.
