Crime drama starring Amanda Plummer and Saskia Reeves. Eunice travels the motorways in a fruitless search for Judith, the only person who has ever understood and loved her. She meets Miriam, who is fascinated by the unpredictable Eunice and follows her, only to find herself an accomplice to murder.
Thelma and Louise meets The Silence of the Lambs in this weird British road movie that stars Amanda Plummer as a lesbian serial killer and Saskia Reeves as her willing associate. It's narrated by Reeves, who plays the extremely dense shop assistant picked up by punkette Plummer at a service station. They go to bed, hit the road and the body count rises as Plummer seeks out a former lover. Instead of being shockingly original like, say, Trainspotting it's merely drab and depressing. Directed by Michael Winterbottom, who made the excellent Jude and Welcome to Sarajevo.
