Summary

A dysfunctional family are taken hostage by kidnappers who hold them in a burning building with no apparent means of escape, forcing them to set aside their differences and work together to find a way out. Clumsy action thriller that's miscast and suffers from having far too much going on, starring Eric Roberts and Jurgen Prochnow

David Parkinson

Anyone seen Die Hard? Well, director David Warry-Smith has, and doggedly clings to its formula in this mediocre thriller - although, in fairness, he does throw in a little Towering Inferno, too. Why is there always a gung-ho hero lurking nearby whenever a villain attempts to take over a major public building? This time it's ex-treasury agent Eric Roberts, who abandons his sight-seeing tour, first to kibosh Jürgen Prochnow's raid on the Seattle Treasury building and then to lead trapped hostages through the raging conflagration. Two plots for the price of one, and neither is much good.
